A very charming-full village with lively shops and a harbour. There is also variety of restaurants with seafood on the menu. It is a peaceful place to enjoy the sea view from the harbour. We visit Volendam on the same day of the Edam Cheese Market, 15 min away with a bicycle.

A place near Volendam which opens on certain days of the week. A cheese market as you can see in the pictures below. It is a glamorous town which one can have a walk in the streets too.

Zaanse Schans – Zaandam
A town that has a panoramic views of traditional houses and windmills.
Arriving in Zaanse Schans,
the beautiful sceneries,
the sun is shining,
the water of the river is flowing,
the wind blows feeling cold,
and the windmills are spinning.

Holland is one of those countries in Europe i have never been – have no idea why!! Have done all around! It looks really lovely (but then what northern European country in the sunshine doesn’t??! Would love the cheese market too 🙂
